I’ve been a media and marketing specialist professionally for over seven years and have been creatively capturing the attention of audiences my whole life.
I use a people-first approach when crafting a message and draw upon my vast repertoire of technical skills to create custom media solutions tailored to fit the target market. DIALOG (2015-2019)

  • 5 years of marketing experience at one of Canada’s leading infrastructure design firms
  • Designed B2B marketing collateral such as Presentations, Award Submissions, Infographics and High-Profile Proposals.
  • Oversaw DIALOG’s nation-wide asset library to ensure thousands of photos and graphics were properly tagged and organized
  • Excelled beyond the traditional role of graphic designer to meet DIALOG’s photo and video production needs such as headshots, event photography and promotional videos
  • Managed print production for a wide range of deadline-driven marketing projects
  • Consistently developed new skills to add value to my team through courses and personal projects

NAIT Graphic Communications Program (2020-2022)

  • Provided over 120 hours of instructional training to each program graduate, which covered theory and practical skills using industry standard design tools such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Coached students from a beginner level (no prior design experience) to career-ready (independently creating professional print-ready graphic media)
  • Provided troubleshooting to online students for hundreds of technical issues resulting from user errors and a variety of computer systems.
  • Demonstrated layout principles for the design of ads, posters, menus, reports, interactive documents and magazines
  • Provided objective and constructive feedback on student designs
  • Taught advanced InDesign concepts including typographic formatting, text style management, grid structures, image management, data merge and preparing files for proper output.
  • Prepared students to manage print technologies, resolution, color modes, compression and file management to maintain the reputation of NAIT’s Graphic Communications program as a leader in Alberta’s print production education
  • Coached students through the process of hosting and designing websites using WordPress and Wix.
  • Taught advanced Photoshop editing techniques and image formatting for a variety of end uses.

Large campaign budgets and pretentious designs are a waste if the intended audience is forgotten or ignored. I have years of experience researching demographics, captivating viewers and growing audiences from the screen to the stage and everywhere in between.

  • Coached students through the process of preparing and executing engaging live presentations in a course titled Advanced Communication.
  • Taught and assessed the development of key skills including using captivating body language, employing effective visual aids, and deconstructing complex topics into concise digestible information.
  • Trained the students to adapt their language and delivery to suit their target audience. 
  • Led exercises and facilitated discussions with students to build an understanding of how factors such as age, culture, experience, profession, or cognitive function should influence how we choose to communicate with people.
  • Equipped technical trade students with industry standard written communication skills to prepare them to enter the workforce and represent their future employers with professionalism.
  • Guiding students through the processes of writing resumes, cover letters, proposals, and presentations.

  • My creative posts have garnered attention from various news and media outlets including interviews from CTV, Global News, CBC Radio, SONiC 102.9 and Metro News regarding a couple of my musical facebook posts.
  • Two posts that attracted the most media attention included a song about seeking an affordable place to live in downtown Edmonton, and another song celebrating the opening of Edmonton’s Funicular (featuring local music duo, Jenesia).
  • My fascination with new media has allowed me to accumulate publication experience with Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Twitch, podcasting, and original website creation.
  • I’m consistently seeking new opportunities to explore new media platforms.

  • 150,000 likes
  • 9,000 followers
  • 750,000 views

Have undertaken numerous public speaking roles including marketing pitch presenter, post-secondary instructor, guest speaker for elementary students, sermonizer, and emcee for weddings and fundraisers.

  • Completed Grindstone Theatre’s stand up comedy course in 2018 including a showcase performance.
  • Delivered an additional ten comedy performances after completing the course.
  • Engaging audiences from the stage has been a life-long avocation. 
  • Performed in over 8 bands and 5 community theatre productions.

Refined my interpersonal skills through over three years of waiting tables for The Cheesecake Cafe, East Side Mario’s and The Redline Diner.
